Nick W shares a similar enthusiasm, calling Farro a "perfect cosy lunchtime eatery" that truly hits the spot. His experience was highlighted by a poached chicken sandwich paired beautifully with the soup of the day and a latte. His praise for the atmosphere and service solidifies Farro as a worthy addition to anyone’s culinary itinerary.

With attentive and smiling staff, like those mentioned by Simon who appreciated the perfect temperature of his coffee, and Samuel Fok who can't resist stopping by for their must-try smoothies, it’s evident that Farro Nourishing Eatery not only delivers on quality but also creates a memorable experience with each visit.

Loved everything about this little gem hidden away behind Moorabbin train station. The food is clean and healthy, with wholemeal bread for sandwiches and organic quinoa for the bowls. Both the regular flat white and iced coffee was well brewed with a nice creama. Not pretentious at all, just great food and good coffee in a quiet, comfortable and cosy setting.

A bit quiet on a Wednesday morning at Farro, which was good news for me and my wife - no trouble getting a table. Coffee was fine although a little lukewarm Jaffles were the highlight. Try the Reuben or the chilli beef (not all that spicy) Super tasty. Not a large number of seats. Could be tight getting to sit down in busy times. Staff were smiley, pleasant Probably the number one place for coffee in Moorabbin at the moment (?)

Perfect cosy lunchtime eatery. This place really hit the spot. The food and coffee are scrumptious and the atmosphere is delightful. Great staff and service. A great menu with selections that will have me coming back to try more. I had a poached chicken sandwich, soup of the day and a latte. I enjoyed them all - especially the sandwich + soup + coffee! I liked it all. Great music. Great energy. Win win.

Just caught this place out of the corner of my eye. Wow pleasant surprise. Owners l believe young attentive ladies serve with enthusiasm and professionalism. Had porridge and coffee. We joked about the coffee temperature and it was perfect - hotish side as it was meant to be served. I am sure coffee is served luke warm these days because barristers are in too much of a hurry and the automatic machines pump the coffee though far quicker now days. Looking forward to trying the yogurt and peanut butter breakfast cup. Definitely go to cafe.

Anytime I'm in the area I'll stop by for a good pick me up. The smoothie is a must have, and the food is well presented and delicious. There is always a friendly service with a smile. I highly recommend it if you are in the area.

Such a cute little spot that is easy to miss as there are quite a few cafe spots in this area but it’s definitely worth a visit. I had a smoothie, coconut macaron and the bacon and egg breakfast bun it was delicious and the service was friendly and warm! Sorry for no photo of the bun I ate it too quickly!

Finally went to Farro and yes it was great. The coffees were excellent, husband and I had flat whites and soy lattes. Then he had scrambled eggs on rye sourdough while I had avo smash with feta on rye sourdough. And finally an avo smash that didn't come automatically with eggs! They had to be ordered as an extra if you wanted them. Note the avo smash wasn't a massive serving, like some cafes, but I was satisfied. They have an interesting menu and sweet and savoury snacks to take away, eg. Bacon and egg rolls, Falafel wrap, buckwheat banana bread, etc. Really nice fit out too. Seating inside and out, street parking and conveniently located opposite Moorabbin train station. Will return to try the beans, get takeaway wrap and another delicious coffee.
